FRIDAY MEDAL ROUND: Help those of us in cities which seem to be extending that "April showers" rhyme until the end of May. What are your three favorite things to do on a gray/rainy afternoon?
BLOGORELLI
Gold: Puddle jumping (!)
Silver: Warm tea + a spot of whiskey and listening to old records
Bronze: Reading UsWeekly in bed then launching directly into a nap

(1) Drinking whiskey, while
(2) Reading some Virgil or Conrad or some such "great lit" I think I ought to find deeply stimulating and evocative, until
(3) The whiskey's made me think it would be SO AWESOME to go for a walk barefoot in the pouring rain, and doing it.

2. walking in the fog or light rain if it's not too cold.
3. lighting candles indoors instead of lightbulbs.
