Were I an actual architect who spent, like, a gazillion combined years in school, studying for licensing exams, and climbing my way up the ranks, I'd Make It Right for Brad Pitt...by smashing him one in that structurally perfect nose and/or mouth. Of course, he also has millions of dollars and managed to impregnante Angelina Jolie for a second time, so he'd probably turn the sucker punch into an opportunity to launch a crusade about reconstructive dental rights for low-income Appalachian families.

BRAD PITT FUCKING RULES

stirring up controversy, yo.
He brings great public attention to MIR, but darnit, I wish he were more articulate when he speaks about it. He makes me wince to hear him (but not as bad as Pres Bush).
BUT he is annoying in the sense that he seems the poser, like he has always wanted to be an architect but never went to school. And now through his fame, he can have the opportunity many schooled architects never get: to be famous and push your projects forward.
Hey, I don't think those houses are half bad...

OK, Brad Pitt still irks me, but perhaps I did walk the harsh line here. I'm all for returning those displaced by Katrina to their homes (or, I guess, new ones.) On that note, I'd also highly recommend everyone see "When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts" by Spike Lee.

While he thinks he's doing a great thing with his 'hobby' I'm not convinced the people made homeless by Katrina really want to live in a structure by some of these architect friends he's lined up. 'Surprise! You are no longer homeless you are now the owner of this physical nightmare from the recesses of Liebeskind's mind when all you really needed was a roof over your head. Give money / help tons of people / be proud. Don't help a few / stroke your ego / rub elbows with your architect 'friends.'

I agree with both Mr.Car and the Hungarian. While Brad Pitt is definitely an arse, Make it Right is pretty awesome.
