Finally, finally, FINALLY on Sunday night, The Prof returned from his four weeks of business trips! We promptly went to our haunt, The Pleasant Cafe, for pizza and a few Octoberfests from the tap. At first, being home by myself really felt like a fun novelty, but the "orelli" was definitely ready for the "Murf" half of Murforelli to return.
Last week ended up being a blur, and I missed Friday's Sixpence in Her Shoe posts. However, I did join a gym near work (and work out twice) and managed to book blocks of rooms for our guests. Now that Mark has returned, we can concentrate on the tasks at hand (#1 guest list, #2 budget, ick.)
I also bought a new dining room table + benches for our place, and almost got the letterpress shop set up in the basement. Overall...not a bad week. But now I'm back here, blogosphere, and have lots of fun posts ready to come at'cha this week, including, but not limited to: Presidential debating, some roller derby dames, and a few fall fotos of Castle Murforelli.
