The past 11 days since we returned from our mini-honeymoon have been a whirl, even though my "To Do" list is on auto-pilot (meaning, not much is getting done.) A recap:
I'm working a reduced schedule (M-W) for the time being, which means I get to hang out with The Boys on Thursday and Friday. Last week, we took a loong walk, started at the Pet Cabaret for new harnesses. Liza would have been so proud.
(Trouble, L, and Rusty, R, in their new Puppia step-ins)
We proceeded to take in some of the campaign signs for Boston's upcoming mayoral election on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. The two final candidates are Menino and Flaherty, although I quite enjoyed the spicy font on Gonzalez's materials (even though, yes, I realize he is running for Councillor not Mayor.)
I felt adventurous and decided to put Trusty (yes, combined name,) into the car seats that I bought them so they don't jump into the front seat, and go run errands. Admittedly, all parties felt suspect of the plan.
One of the seat latches broke after Target, so that was that. On Friday, Murf and I went out to Pinz Bowl for Nacho Night -- an occasion organized by their friends Jill and Mike to celebrate Frank and Tracey before the BIG DAY (in 264 hours!)
Today as I walked home from the train, the trees confirmed my suspicion: Fall has arrived once again.
