Happy New DECADE, actually!
Since I pretty much missed Jan 1 as New Year, I'm adopting the Chinese New Year to send these tidings...?
Wow, I literally can't believe that ten years of the 'aughts' have passed by and now 2011 is here. Do you remember how you rang in 2000 -- bombed or in a bomb shelter? Of course, I allowed myself to be totally freaked out by all the Y2K hype and spent the night working at my dad's restaurant (because if the world ended, I was damn well gonna be in Pennsylvania, wait, huh?) Since 11 is my lucky number, and any repeating numbers seem auspicious, 2011 seems to have the potential of being a banner year.
What are your big plans for the new decade?!?
. . . . . . . . . . .
Blogorelli's "10 from 2010"
1. One year anniversary with The Prof
2. España!
3. New job, oh yea
4. Adorable babies born, a new batch on the way...another full wedding season
5. One year with The (furry) Boys
6. Cinti!
7. Santa Fe
8. Royal engagement ON MY BIRTHDAY
9. Phyllis (the chair)
10. The Recession (dum, dum, DUM)
. . . . . . . . . . .
As for 2011, I have big hopes, I guess the main one would be buying a house. I'm a Snake, but circling back to the Year of the Rabbit, "People born under the year of the Rabbit tend to be fortunately blessed, strong willed, hate disagreements, careful, unobtrusive, systematic and confident. The Rabbit is one of the most fortunate of all the Chinese star signs."
To start off the (Chinese) New Year correctly, the Murforelli clan ate some quality cuisine and we all opened fortunes:
Blogorelli: "Smile and rejoice, fortune is smiling on you"
The Professor: "One's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions"
Trouble: "A kiss makes the heart young again and wipe out the years"
Rusty: "Fogive the action, forget the intent"
Yea, so nothing profound or even sensical...but we still have high hopes!

Yeah! Welcome back to the blogosphere!
